On February 24, Russia started a full-scale war against Ukraine and all of Europe. Since then, the Russian army bombed Ukrainian cities and villages daily, destroying both civilian and military infrastructure. Every day dozens of innocent people are killed or injured. Artists and cultural workers are no exception. They have a right to live, be safe and continue their work. Today, the world needs free, strong and alive voices of Ukrainian cultural actors more than ever. The Fund aims to ensure the continuity and development of the Ukrainian cultural process during the war. Ukrainian Emergency Fund is operated by Museum of Contemporary Art ( MOCA). https://ueaf.moca.org.ua

Seit über zwei Monate kämpft die ukrainische Bevölkerung um ihr bloßes Leben, um Freiheit und Kultur. Darunter auch die Kulturschaffenden. Über diesen Fonds können Künstler*innen und Kultureinrichtungen Nothilfen beantragen. Empfänger auf ukrainischer Seite ist der Ukrainian Emergency Fund. Der Fonds wurde von vier international renommierten Organisationen, dem Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) e.V., der unabhängigen Medienorganisation Zaborona, der Kunstgalerie The Naked Room und dem National Art and Culture Museum Complex Mystetskyi Arsenal ins Leben gerufen. Über diesen Fonds können Künstler*innen und Kultureinrichtungen Nothilfen beantragen. https://ueaf.moca.org.ua
